Hello there!
I’m Emiliano, a robotics engineer passionate about AI, robotics, and hands-on technical problem solving.
I enjoy building, improving, and fixing systems to make them more effective, reliable, and intelligent.
My academic background gave me a strong theoretical foundation in mechanics and electronics, which sparked my interest in robotics from an early stage. Over time, this interest evolved into a deeper passion for mobile robotics, control, autonomous navigation, manipulation, perception, localization, and mapping.
During my Master’s degree, I also had the opportunity to explore the other side of the moon: machine learning. Through hands-on projects and hard study, I developed a growing interest in learning-based techniques, especially when applied to robotic systems.
From the beginning, I believed that AI would become a powerful tool for robotics. Combined with model-based methods, it can help unlock the full potential of robotic platforms. For this reason, I strongly believe in hybrid architectures, where classical robotics and AI work together, with a particular interest in the adoption of reinforcement learning.
Among the topics that stimulate me the most, I enjoy discussing what the next big step in robotics will be and, more importantly, how to make it happen.
Curiosity drives the vision. Engineering makes it real.
